Last birthday apron

So it is complete. My 2012 birthday aprons for my ladies. Here is the last on for Cata in Ohio. Joke is, the color matches the orange shag carpet in her house. I love this one - even found ribbon to match.

In case you have not noticed, I am a little ADHD. Have lots of projects going at once and love them all. I have been working a while on these darling aprons for my girls. The big girls for their birthdays. I finished Jessica's in time to get it to her on the day. Stephanie's is in the mail and .........Caitlin's birthday is not until the end of the month. I found the pattern on the web. As soon as i track it down i will post the site. They are all made out of either oilcloth or coated cotton. They are all a little different. I love them.

A week or so ago I posted a picture of a blue poncho for my grand daughter Lauren, well, I made a hat to match. Hope she loves it.

HELLO 2012!!!!! So glad to see you!

My last post was over a year ago. It has been one hell of a year. I am going to be better about posting this year. I am going to start with a few pictures of some of the crochet projects i have completed. Some of them are long gone without pictures, but that is ok. With every gift goes a bit of love. Now to see if i remember how to get the pictures to show.

I did little girl things:

This one went to baby Whitney.Zoey modeled this during Andrew's winging.
My first attempt at a sweater went to Zoey for her birthday. Leilani got a pink camo sweater for those chilly California evenings.
Lauren gets this for her birthday, wish it was big enough for me. The three littlest girls got matching dresses and hairbows for Klaus and Alyssa's wedding. I did not make the dress but did make the flowers for the dresses and hair decorations.
I also had a good time making pillows and an afgan just for me.

SRK Birthday book

I love this book!!! The pictures dont do it justice but my good camera is not charged so i used the old one. I hope Savanah is happy!!!

I am not showing all the pages - there are at least two water color pages with stamps in brown of either designs or sayings on each. There is lots of space for journaling or putting pictures of family and or friends. There are a couple of envelopes tucked in to save special things in too.

There will also be some of the paper that was used on the pages included so SRK can use them in the book if she wants.

Here are the inside pages that are supposed to reflect what she likes to do and what she is involved in. Hope i got it all correct.

Oh Me of My I cannot believe i really have not posted anything in soooooo long. I have so many projects that i have not even taken pictures of that i have already given away i am sooooo sad. But here is the nlatest - hot off the press. Be patient with me i am working on getting the pictures up.

Oh my goodness I cannot believe it has been so long since I added something to this blog. Australia, Christmas, and La Sonrisa have taken over my live. But guess what......I'm Back with a vengance. I made 3 cards this week. They will be posted soon. You won't believe how much my work has matured.
